In Drayton Parslow we are lucky to live in a very beautiful part of the world with a rich history. Many who live in the village enjoy walking and exploring the local landscape.
The following walks have been put together by by Jeremy Lee who lives in the village.
The walks all use statutory footpaths, bridleways and other rights of way and include details of features of historical interest that you pass on the way. The walks vary in length but take an hour or 2 to complete and the distances stated for each walk are based on starting and ending each walk at The War Memorial. There are opportunities to combine 2 or more walks to provide longer routes that can keep you out walking all day if required.
Each walk is accompanied by a very simple map drawn by Jeremy however Ordnance Survey Explorer Map 192 covers the areas too or you can download the OS app to your smartphone.

Walk Number 1 – Salden and Mursley 4 miles
Walk Number 2 – Stewkley Dean and the Green Lane – just under 4 miles
Walk Number 3 – Newton Longville and Salden – 5 miles
Walk Number 4 – Dorcas Farm – 3.5 miles
Walk Number 5 – Stewkley Dean 4.9 miles
Walk Number 6 – Swanbourne 5.9 miles
Walk Number 7 – Hollingdon and Stewkley 5.5 miles
Walk Number 8 – Dry Pub Crawl – Swanbourne & Mursley 8 miles ( can be shortened )
